Well, we had snow oh so briefly to be washed away by the seemingly endless Washington rain.  Now it's a torrential downpour with flood warnings all over the Seattle area.  Roads have closed already and rivers haven't quite breached their banks yet.  Now this is the holidays Northwest-style.  So I am thankful for the waterproof canvas overcoats on the horses now!  The mustangs insist on being outside until dark.  The goats and chickens are all suggled inside, and the buns are all warm and dry in the rabbitry.  We expect the predicted wind storm (*really" Northwest holidays!) will take out the power tonight as it usually does.  It's a good thing that I collect candle holders and candles
