Hello.  We really are still here!  Life has been moving sort of like white water lately -- fast and wild.  John continues to recover from his stroke but he has taken a few falls and recently had a seizure, so there have been eqipment and medication changes along the way.  We are headed out for acupuncture this week and hopefully he will qualify to get a special "dynamic splint" to help rehabilitate his hand. On the farm, we have downsized greatly.  Our farm now consists of 7 goats, 2 llamas, 4 horses, chickens, rabbits and our gardens.  We have managed to get to 2 rabbit shows and happily came home with lots of ribbons.  I have (mostly) managed to keep office hours and am still working on finishing the remodeling of my office that started this spring.  Drakeston is enjoying his freshman classes and homeschool work, and got his first progress report which was excellent!
We hope that everyone has had a wonderful Harvest, Halloween, Ramadan, High Holidays, Michealmas, etc and look forward to Thanksgiving!
